Ride your horse or pony into the heart of the National Park following the trail of the Welsh Mountain Ponies.
The Brecon Beacons Welsh Pony Trails will take you into the heart of the Brecon Beacons where you will be able to marvel at the beauty of the mountain scenery. Children must be 11 years and over.
Your experienced guide will take you off the beaten track to enjoy remote parts of the Brecon Beacons where you will picnic by a bubbling mountain stream or shady woodland clearing and get a bird’s eye view of the valley below.
A lunch break is included on the ride. Lunches can be purchased from our cafe or you are more than welcome to bring your own along. Lunch and drinks are carried in saddle bags that will be provided.
For the more experienced horse rider there will be opportunites to go for a canter once on the mountains (dependant on weather and ground condtions).
All horse riders will receive basic instruction before leaving and our friendly and experienced guide will ensure that an enjoyable time is had by all.
The horse ride is approx 5 hours and includes the brief demonstration and instruction prior to departure and a lunch break.
This ride starts at 10:30am and arrives back at approximatley 4.00pm.
