Welcome to Cantref Horse Riding Centre

Cantref Horse Riding Centre is in the Brecon Beacons, South Wales and has been established for over 40 years ago and is the only horse riding centre that goes onto the Brecon Beacons, Powys, South Wales. 

We offer pony trekking, mountain horse riding, horse riding lessons, short riding courses and holiday horse riding breaks in the spectacular Brecon Beacons National Park, South Wales.

At the riding centre we take every care that all horse and pony riders enjoy their day and our experienced guides will make every effort to help you enjoy your ride.

All riders receive basic instruction in our outdoor riding school before leaving the centre for your ride and riding hats are provided free of charge.

Please note that the demonstration and instruction are included within the ride time.

Please note our weight limit is 16 stone. 

We are at the forefront of mountain activities. Our knowledge and experience over these years has led to many return visitors. We welcome families and groups to come and enjoy horse riding in the Brecon Beacons.

We are licensed and approved by many of the major equine organisations local council, W.T.R.A and A.A.L.A

 Please note that children must be 4 years and over to ride a pony at Cantref Riding Centre.
